Are you lost? Can't seem to find direction? Seemingly running around in circles? Life get's that way sometimes. I have been lost on several occasions in my life and became confused or disoriented. Wandering into places I wasn't to sure were all that safe to be in. Kind of scary really. I would then start looking for a landmark that I was familiar with and when I found one I made a straight line for it and didn't stop until I reached it. Safe and in familiar surroundings my fear would leave me and I knew everything was going to be ok.
I want to speak to you, young man/woman. Are you running in circles and aren't quite sure where you are going today? I want to give you a landmark that you can set your compass or GPS on to find the way you need to go. A safe haven where you do not have to fear. Where you are accepted with unconditional love. The God who made you is that landmark. You will find it in His word, the bible. You will find it in others, who were just as lost as you once, in the church. Those who have recieved Jesus as their personal savior and guide.
We have all tried everything else at one time or another and were still lost. It is not until you submit to Jesus' mercy and grace that you will find your way. The way to peace. Peace with God and peace of God. Look to the landmark of Jesus. He will bring you home. IIThessalonians 3:5 - May the Lord direct your hearts into God's love and Christ's perserverance.
